Venice Climate Week - exhibition + panel

I am honoured to take part in Venice Climate Week 26, taking place in Venice from 3 to 8 June under the theme “PLANET AQUA, PLANET PEACE.”

I have been invited to speak in the panel “VISUALIZING THE INVISIBLE – ART, POWER, AND THE GEOGRAPHY OF CLIMATE,” in conversation with Barbara Tagliaferri, Chief Brand & Communications Officer | Head of Arts & Culture at Deloitte, and Paolo Naldini, Director of Cittadellarte, Fondazione Pistoletto.

The talk will take place on 6 June at 12:00 PM and will be moderated by Cristiano Seganfreddo.

Alongside the talk, a selection from my project “Critical Minerals – Geography of Energy” will be on view at the Procuratie in Piazza San Marco.

The exhibition will open on 3 June at 10:00 AM.

The Photo Solstice - La Maddalena

I am pleased to share that in June, I will be in La Maddalena, a beautiful island along the Sardinian coast, to take part in The Photo Solstice – Le giornate della fotografia in Sardegna, curated by Marco Delogu.

This will be the eighth edition of the project, taking place from 18 to 21 June 2026.

Among the other confirmed guests are Sam Stourdzé, Director of Villa Medici; Simonetta Gola, Director of Communications at Emergency; Giulia Tornari, independent curator; Lorenzo Meloni, Magnum photographer; Peter N. Miller, President of the American Academy in Rome; and Silvio Pons, President of Fondazione Gramsci. The event will open with a video greeting from Don McCullin.

Critical Minerals at Swiss Camera Museum of Vevey

From April 3rd to June 8th, 2025, in parallel with the exhibition Mining Photography: The Ecological Impact of Image Production, and on the occasion of Leica’s 100th anniversary, the Swiss Camera Museum of Vevey is presenting an installation of my project Critical Minerals - Geography of Energy, as the 2024 winner of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award, at the Place du Marché.

In parallel with my exhibition at the Place du Marché, I will give a presentation of my series Critical Minerals – Geography of Energy, focusing on the mining of certain natural resources.
The lecture, scheduled for May 22nd, 6pm, will be in English, with a Q&A session available in French.
